  1. This archive contains documentation and sample scene files for
  2. POV-Ray 3.0.1.  It can NOT be used without programs located in
  3. another archive.  It is intended mainly for use by people who
  4. are compiling POV on a system for which POV is not officially
  5. supported, whether Unix based or not.
  6.  
  7. This archive is not needed by those people who already have a
  8. complete distribution, such as the Linux, SunOS, DOS, or
  9. Windows versions.
  10.  
  11. Questions and problems with Unix versions can be directed to
  12. Andreas Dilger.  Please make sure you have consulted with a
  13. local Unix person first if you think the problem is likely to
  14. be on your end.  If you are installing POV-Ray in a publicly
  15. accessible location, you must read and comply with the 'Online
  16. or Remote Execution' conditions in POVLEGAL.DOC.
